P-066 SURGICAL TREATMENT OF RECTUS DIASTASIS WITH ASSOCIATED HERNIA: INITIAL EXPERIENCE IN A TERTIARY HOSPITAL

Abstract Aim Rectus diastasis (RD) is frequent and may be associated with abdominal wall hernias. Although a plication of the línea alba mesh placement has been suggested to repair RD small hernias, numerous surgical techniques have reported. We present our inicial experience in treatment hernia (RDAH). Material Methods reviewed patients RDAH treated surgically at hospital from June 2021 July 2022. The minimum follow-up time was 6 months. Results Forty one were operated an average age 59.3 years (range 27–83 years), 53.7% female, 46.3% male. Mean BMI 29.8 Kg/m2 18.6–40.0 Kg/m2). Fourteen women (34.3%) had mean 1.9 previous pregnancies 0–4 pregnancies). most common types primary midline (51.2%), incisional (26.8%), recurrent (19.5%). Most M1-3 (90%) W1-W2 (80.5%). diameter 3,1 cm 1–8 cm). performed Rives (43.9%), preperitoneal (34.1%), onlay (19.5%) Bezama-Murray technique (2.4%). Hematoma respiratory failure (7.3%) found first 30 postoperative days. No reccurence recorded time. Conclusions Surgical could recommended prevent recurrence. choice should adapted characteristics RD, patient.
